Photoshop is the most powerful application available for photo manipulation, digital art, and graphic design. This beginners "foundation" class covers essential features such as shortcuts, navigating in a file, image size and resolution, file formats, color modes, levels, curves, color balance and other image adjustments, layers, selections, the creative and retouching tools, brushes,text and more. If you are new to Photoshop, or only have an elementary understanding of the program, then this is the place to start. Our classes utilize files that show typical photographic problems and how to correct them.

Computer lab limited to six students. No previous experience required. Students wishing to save their work should bring a USB flash drive. Instructor is a professional graphic designer and digital illustrator.
