Discover the art of photography through an introduction to basic image-making principles, including techniques applicable for both film and digital technologies. Heavy emphasis on understanding exposure (including aperture, shutter speeds, and ISO), as well as lighting (natural, artificial, directional, etc.) to capture interesting and complex images. Hands-on instruction includes studio photo shoots utilizing natural and artificial lighting. Composition and presentation are also discussed. Beginner to intermediate photo students are welcomed. Digital SLR or Bridge Camera required.
